(Well, at least they use the proper term for it - got to give them credit
for that, but nothing else. Semantics are so important, you know. Time
was, they were called sodomites, like in the Bible - perverts, which is
accurate - faggots, which is technically dead wood you throw on a fire
and which some will contend is a good description - queers, and they certainly are ODD - fairies, no comment, and NOW we have GAYS!
I contend that they are NOT gay - which means happy - and those of us
who still possess our faculties would be wise not to ever refer to them
as such. "Gay" connotes light-hearted joy; even the dictionary hasn't
totally wrecked THAT one. It says - "...merry, bright, lively, brilliant
in color". It also says, right before "homosexual" - "given to social
pleasures: licentious." How interesting...licentious means - "lewd,
lascivious". Not only should you not be USING the term "gay", but those
of you who are parents should instruct your children likewise.
THE OLYMPIANS are very, very specific with their WORDS, and they know some vile ones, too - I've heard them. Let us be similarly accurate with ours, as BY them we are justified, and BY them we are condemned.
